Hi there! I am Macaulay Honors College student at CUNY Brooklyn College majoring in business administration with a concentration in marketing and minoring in consumer behavior with a 4.0 GPA. I am a creative self-starter with strong writing, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. I am eager to work in a fast-paced environment that will utilize, challenge, and broaden my talents.
My experience in marketing sparked at 14 years old when I created my gymnastics Instagram account which surpassed 340,000 followers within 3 years. Since then, I've applied my skills as a social media manager for 8 different companies. I've developed a talent for creating digital content, curating copy for marketing materials, optimizing social media traffic, analyzing trends, and editing promotional videos. For example, I applied social media growth strategies to facilitate a 970% increase in average monthly follower gain in my first 3 months working at Great Kosher Restaurants Magazine International. This past summer, I was a Small Group Marketing intern at Elevance Health which allowed me to explore a new area in corporate marketing.
Additionally, I use my marketing skills as the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) president at Brooklyn College to increase student engagement, advocate for my fellow 13,000+ students, and publicize resources alongside my 75+ person team. Some highlights from my tenure include increasing student votership in elections by 400% through my interactive campaign, becoming the first all-female president/vice president slate to win in USG history, and creating dozens of events to recruit and retain students including our carnival which attracted over 1,400 attendees. Among other things, this role has taught me how to approach diverse communities with empathy and focus on the well-being of my community.
My professional experience and excitement to learn make me an excellent candidate as I take the next step in my professional career. I welcome the opportunity to discuss my skills, abilities, and experiences further and address any questions you may have.
